PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

The raw material (feed) for catalytic cracking  is usually the portion of crude oil with an initial distillation point of 340 °C or higher (atmospheric pressure) and an average molecular weight of 200 to 600 or higher. This crude oil is often called heavy gas oil (heavy vacuum gas oil) or Heavy vacuum gas oil (HVGO). In the catalytic cracking process, the raw material is exposed to a catalyst at high temperatures and under appropriate pressure. The catalyst breaks up long chains of high-boiling hydrocarbon molecules into shorter molecules that are then collected as vapor.

Like fluid bed, spouted bed is based on the basic principle of fluidization and the pneumatic transport of particles by upward flowing process air. Spouted beds have several advantages and potential applications. They can handle granular particles with a wide size distribution range, provide an efficient mixing between the solid and gas phases and significant rates of heat and mass transfer. DZC can supply the catalyst with an average particle size of 500-800μm, and 900-1500μm, that is used for spouted bed reactor.
